GIULIANA BERCHICCI

Giuliana Berchicci is a strategy and business development executive with 20+ years of experience investing in and commercializing emerging technologies. She is an active investor and advisor to leading blockchain/fintech startups, with a focus on scaling businesses and international expansion.

She is recognized for her entrepreneurial mindset, creative problem-solving, and strategic vision.

With a Masters In Econimics from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from Harvard University plus advanced training in Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan-CSAIL, Giuliana combines world-class business acumen with cutting-edge technological knowledge. She is fluent in four languages-English, Italian, Spanish and French. As if that were not enough, she is currently learning Portugese and Arabic.

She is adaptable and her experiense has given her a unique understanding of business that crosses boarders and cultures.

Professional Achievements

Milan

Giuliana’s university career started at Bocconi University in Milan, where she achieved her first Masters degree from the DES (Economics and Social Sciences) program, additionally being recognized with the Presidential Gold Medal.

Buenos Aires- London - Boston

Giuliana wrote her Bocconi thesis in Buenos Aires where she reserarched the association between the agricultural sector of the Argentina and the overall effect it had on the economy.

When she finished at Bocconi, she moved to London to serve as a Senior Analyst at Lehman Brothers in London, gaining valuable experience in the financial sector.

She first moved to Boston to attend the Harvard Business School, after which she joined Bain & Company, working on projects in Boston and Milan.

Later, with her late husband, she was directly involved in growing a highly successful recruiting business. This last experience has given her the vision to be able to connect the right people to projects increasing their likelihood of success.

Latin America and the World.

She has returned to Buenos Aires multiple times for work as well as to engage with the numerous contacts she generated there over the years.

More recently, she served as Head of New Markets for Algorand, where she focused on expanding blockchain infrastructure in Latin America, facilitating innovative projects like:
• Developing blockchain infrastructure in El Salvador.
• Facilitating partnerships for tokenized grain platforms.
• Helping to develop platforms for digital asset transacting

She continues to advise a numbner of companies through out Latin America, Europe and the US.
